Another question by a CX Newbie :oops: ...

Looking at weights only, I would get the SRam X9 or even X7 Type 2 clutch RD, with med cage on my CX setup.
The new Force and Rival 1 are the same weight or heavier, and more expensive.
Pros and cons ?

The lack of a barrel adjuster on the mtb derailleurs is kind of a pain.

Easy to fix with an in-line adjuster ?

X7 and X9 are 10 speed.

Rival1 and CX1 are 11 speed.

@rasmussloth - SRAM 10 speed RD's are interchangeable with 11 speed road RD's.

Yeah I forgot to write it's for a 1 X 10S setup.

I didn't see the lack of barrel adjuster. That's one point.
With inner shift cables....

So 10 spd. MTB rd can be made into 11 spd. road?

Even then, there's got to be a bit of cable exposed somewhere?

Yeah, there's a little part between the handlebar tape end and the down tube housing/cable entry point to put an in-line adjuster, like you pointed out.

I might go for this scenario. Any worthy in-line adjuster model to suggest ?

Jagwire adjusters are cheap and reliable, in my experience.
