Hi, I looked, but didn't find a thread on people's favorite Chinese carbon Cx disc frames. Any info is appreciated. Thanks.

Ican 059. I like it for its great power transfer, Comfortable ride and good value. I choose a BSA version as I prefer a proper threaded BB.

You can find them on ebay for less than $400 US

I would love to find one too. I'm looking for a disc brake cross or gravel grinder with fender and rack mounts. This will replace my aging commuter frame and it might see a few cross races next year too.

Oh wow. The ican 059 has fender mounts!

Yes I use this for commuting as well and have the PDW Full metal fenders on it. The wider city ones fit perfect on this with no issues.

I'm also interested.

Looking at the FM266 from HongFu Sports right now.

The FD braze-on mount is probably too high for a single ring setup though......

Louis :)

Built and riding the Miracle bikes FM286 for over 6 months now.
Discs, thru axles, BB30 or BSA.
Wish I had known about gravel/CX earlier, loving it. :beerchug:

Just put a drop of lock tite on the bolts and you'll be absolutely fine

It is more the material and the small bolt size that I do not trust. There is a lot of force in that area. I think that I am over analyzing it but I cannot afford a $200 taxi bill and a 20K walk out of the bush to get to that taxi. Some of my rides are over 100K from home in the middle of the ride on a Snowmobile trail in the middle of nowhere.

The only thing the Ican 059 is missing is the seat stay rack mounts.

I have this one (canti), it comes with very good fender eyelets all the way around:

I've done more than 8.000 km on it since november 2013, both winterroad training with fenders and regular CX training. It's a really good frame, and It's a keeper :-)

It takes both di2 and mechanical.

If you want the disc version:

Wauw Marin. That is a really good looking Flyxii FR-601. Is that custom painted fork?

It deserves it's own topic.

I really need to upgrade mine ;-)

I can't see any eyelets near the top of the seat stays for mounting a rack. Does either of these frames have them?

the Ican 059 has a eyelet on the front of the wishbone for a fender mount but if you could get a rack mount under the wishbone above the tire, Which has a lot off space with most tires under 35mm, then this may work for you. If not you would have to attach to the seat binder.
