Nice upgrades and final weight.
I've got a 2009 Jake and while I've done several upgrades over time I've not concentrated on getting it any lighter. My Jake is my commuter and weighs 10kg naked or 11kg with fenders and rack.
Did you weigh your old fork? Was it a Project One steel fork or a Project Two aluminium one? Mine is the steel fork and I've wondered how much I could save by upgrading it.

Its been a while since I checked my posts. The fork was a project two. I saved 200g+ by re-arranging the brake cable holder to a fork mounted one, and was able to cut 30-40mm and drop the stem all the way down.

I just googled the weight on the Project Two fork and came up with 1100-1350. That was a major eye opener! Even aftermarket cx forks weigh quite a bit.

To be honest I've never looked at the weight of any fork other than my Cervelo R3's so it's not a fair comparison. Lol.

You've done a great job lightening a very heavy bike. I've been flip flopping between getting a new frame or keeping the one I've got. Now you have me thinking about getting a new fork again. I might even get a disc brake fork and toss the front canti brake.

It was very heavy, but I had some parts laying around. Does anyone know stock weight for a size 58 with pedals? Could be 12kg...If you are concidering upgrading your Jake, I would recommend to use a fork mounted break cable hanger, in order to drop the stem to an exeptable height.
