Hey folks,

I have a planet-x xls cx bike.. but the fork is pretty dam heavy. It has a steel steerer tube... so I reckon I can drop 300g at least in replacing it.

The fork uses this standard for headset S.H.I.S. Code: IS42/28.6 | IS52/40
And according to planet-x support is has rake 45 mm and the axle to crown is 390 mm.

So.... what can I replace it with?
I was thinking of going with an enve one like viewtopic.php?f=5&t=132724 but the rake and axle to crown seem off? Is this going to affect handling?

Halp.

The existing steel steerer is a tapered one I think.... according to the headset spec - integrated 1 1/8 top bearing and any integrated 1.5 lower bearing.

It is taper.

Planet X do not sell taper cx forks.
