Hi

I have no experience with di2 but I am considering a build similar to yours but on a BMC Crossmachine frame.

Can you make a list of the components that you used for the di2-setup?

-Rs 785
-6870 rear derailleur
-Battery

What else?

Sorry @rasmussloth. I've been away. Components were as follows:

Sram cx1 chainset 46t
Shimano r785 shifter / disc brake set (incl shifters, rotors, oil, hydraulic cables)
Ultegra 6870 rd
Ultegra 11-25 cassette
Kmc 11sp chain
Shimano seat post battery
Shimano front junction box (latest with charging port)
Can't remember how many di2 wires were needed internally. Sorry.

That's it.

There is a way to increase the spring tension on the derailleurs B Knuckle. I've never done this so perhaps someone else with more experience can weigh in on that subject.

I disagree.

on the road , clutch RD are not required...

done 14000 km with RED , RED wiflii, Durace7970 without a chain fall

the only mandatory thing is to use a narrow-wide chainring

Chain slap is not that same as dropping a chain (aka chain fall).

OP also did not say bike would only be ridden on the road. Any kind of bumpy surface (poorly maintained tarmac) or CX race/similar conditions would certainly produce chain slap. I have a 1x10 set-up on my cross bike with Wolftooth NW 40t, ultegra 6700 mid cage rear derailleur, 12-27 cassette and definitely do experience chain slap during riding, however I have yet to DROP a chain.

Disclaimer:I am running a minimalist Origin8 chain guide for extra security.
