I've 3 CX bikes with cantilever brakes and I'm not a fan of disc CX bikes. Besides, I decided to give it the try just for fun.
I expect to get a Colnago Prestige disc end of the week.
I already have a Colnago Prestige canti with DuraAce 9000 Di2, PRO Vibe components and DuraAce wheels. I get crazy whenever I ride that bike: I LOVE IT, so I would like to build the disc version with same setup, then it is going to have DA Di2 with R785 and PRO Vibe components too
Problem is I have a too many doubts about the wheels. I love Dura Ace wheels too much (I've 2xC50 and 1xC35), so I would like to get something similar in terms of stiffness/responsiveness etc.
What would you suggest ?
Difficult decision: disc wheels choice

They fit "road" dropouts. Frankly, they are "road" as standard, and as any new 240's family hubs easy convertible :
Over locknut distance:
front:
15x100 mm thru axle
5x100 mm RWS quick release
rear:
12x142 mm thru axle
5x135 mm RWS quick release

On a slightly different note, be aware there is definitely a difference in the hoods from the 9000 di2 to the R785. I made that switch and at first I didn't like the R785 but now that I've been on them a while they are great.
