Thinking of shortly buying a new mid-range crosser and currently deliberating between these two:

or

Anyone ridden either or both? On paper the Vitus seems like the better deal and, having actually seen one in the flesh at the CRC showroom, it does look very trick indeed, but since I've never had a disc brake bike before any comments or advice would be appreciated. Cheers.

If the Geometry suits you I would go for the Focus. Nothing wrong with the Vitus but it is likely to me that Focus knows more what to do for a good cross Frame/fork.

I'd be looking at the 54.5cm in the Vitus and the 56cm in the Focus. In terms of the geometry I would probably lean towards the Vitus which has a longer headtube and a slightly shorter top tube.

I would go for the Focus.

It's a brilliant new frame.
