Recently the board software has been updated and there are some known bugs/failures:
- Avatars are currently not being displayed
- Tapatalk connection is currently broken

Those bugs will be fixed ASAP (next few days) as they are unfortunately more serious than expected.

If you find more errors please post it here: http://weightweenies.starbike.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=139062

I am having problems mounting a pair of campa cantis on my frame. There are no holes on the mounts for the springs on the brakes. I guess I need a spacer/shim of some sort with a hole in it. Anyone know where I can get this? I found a picture of something like I mean, notice the hole for the spring on the black metal shim. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can try a well stocked bicycle shop or the rte used to be an online shop small parts that had almost everything imaginable. I use Avid Ultimate Shorty brakes that get their spring tension just by tightening the mounting bolt and using a cone wrench to set tension before you tighten the bolt. It's a very nice system and once set stays put.

Are you saying that the canti mounts on the fork are missing the plate with the 3 holes in it as depicted in your photo? That's odd as if they are canti mounts, and not U-brake or Paul's mounts, they would always have that plate (or equivalent). Anyway you can get brake boss components from Paragon (Ti, Stainless or Std Steel)

Hope it helps
