If there are no major rocks on your ride stick with a 28 road tire like a Conti Gator hardshell, or if you want to go big time, Vittoria Open Pave CG,

i use michelin jets tubeless at 35psi (74kg) 32c on mix road/fire road but for anything more offroad than that i prefer slighter larger (and obviously much knobbier) tires.

needless to say the jets are really comfy on the road

I use Schwalbe marathons in 32 on my commute cum touring bike. I find them to be quite sluggish but comfortable. I can totally vouch for their puncture resistance!

my friend gave me his pair of specialized road tires 23c. currently using that on my cx when i'm riding with other friends. the 35c is a bit wide.. should've gone with 28 or 32c instead, so i don't have to deflat just to remove the front tires. but thanks to everyone's advise.. running lower psi is much comfy and seem to roll much better as compared to 85-90psi before.

Using Schwalbe Marathon Racer in 30 or Ultremo DX 28s here. Even the 35 is a good ride. Like tires with rounder profile than the Panaracer tires have. Found the Ruffy Tuffy / Jack Browns to be very sluggish.

Maxxis Raze 33c at 55psi rear, 45psi front (~90kg)

can average 30km/h on them, they are pretty fast for a knobbly tyre.

I run 23 mm. They work fine for me under just about all circumstances. Was toying with the idea of 25 mm due to all the favorable press( I hope I'm not falling for hype here), under the theory the added stability may help on descents, but will probably keep with the 23's as my bike was not designed for 25mm tires.

23mm because I can't run larger.. 25s become too wide on the Enve's for the parlee.
