I've built up my Redline amd turned out to be 16.92lbs. :( that's with Omni seatpost. Will change to another alloy seatpost to see if it could be lighter.

I can't believe how light some of your cx builds are!

I have a 53cm Ritchey Swiss Cross that I am scheduling a 1x10 Sram build for this season and moving to Avid Shorty Ultimates (which I freaking love). It's currently around 9kg I believe (steel is real)

My other cross bike is a 52cm Specialized Crux Force build with sworks cranks, shorty ultimates, and some heavy clinchers on Specialized Terras. I think that one is around 7.7kg

I'll try to post up a parts list, and pictures :beerchug:

Have never even thought of weighing my cx bike. One reason I love having a cross bike, aside from being able to hit the woods or trails if I can only ride at high auto traffic times, is having one bike I don't mind getting dirty, crashing, and not having top-notch parts on. It's still a great bike, I just don't treat it the same as my road bikes.

Oh well, nothing wrong with having beautiful, light cx bikes too. I just like having one in the bunch that I'm okay leaving muddy and cruddy after a ride. But only for a day:)

My 1x11 spooky Supertouch with chorus and hed tubulars is 17lbs. Building another shortly with record, so should be a hair lighter

I finally got around to posting pictures of the finish build on the Prestige.
I've had a few races on it with good showing.
Ultegra 6700 all around running a compact crankset.
Pedals: Crank Bro Candy 2
Brakes: FSA K-Force Cantis with cork pads
Wheels: Zipp 303 tubulars with Challange Fango 33s

I haven't had a change to weigh it yet, but I'm pretty sure it's south of 17 lbs.

I also picked up another steed:
2013 Focus Mares CX1.0 Rapha-Focus Team Issue
SRAM red all around
Brakes: TRP CX9 with swissstop yellows
same wheels and pedals.
This feels just a hair lighter than then the Prestige with the same wheels and pedals.

Get a Niner BSB. It's a lot lighter than the Open or any other CX or Road disc frame on the market. I have a 50cm (53TT) and the frame only weighs 920g!!! Total bike with 33 Racing Ralphs is 7.0kgs. With 40 MSO it's 7.3kgs. It's 1x11 with 44T Wolf x10-42 XX1, Specialized crankset (353g including spider), Easton EC Wheels, carbon 43g saddle, bar stem combo just over 300g, Red22 Hydro shifter/brakes, Force 1 RD, Titanium screws/bolts.

How is the tire clearance on the BSB? Room enough when using 40mm?
