Old fulcrum wheels ok to race?

Hi,

I have a pair of 50mm fulcrum racing speeds. Do you think I could glue on some CX tubs and race on them or would they be too lightly built. My guess is that they are 5-8 years old.

Depends on what courses you are racing. But personally I think road wheels are good enough for CX, its not like you are mountain biking on them.

My maiden voyage wouldn't be a race, I would gain some confidence in the wheels first training etc, then race when you don't worry of a fail.
