Any experience with Challenge Chicane ?
I got a set today and was wondering whether they would work in (light) mud, wet conditions. I have no experience at all with this kind of semi-slick tubulars

The size knobs are aggressive enough that at low pressure you should get good traction in the corners. Braking might be a little more cautious in a straight line though since they lack the center knobs. Looks like the perfect tire for Chicagoland.

From racing the XS in the wet I would expect the Chicane to work in a lot of conditions. Wet or muddy corners should be ok. You'll get some squirm and float around a bit on genuinely muddy straights and downhills.
The key though to remember is that you won't be pedaling up anything muddy. Ramps, short 'run-ups', extended climbs. If they deteriorate beyond wet grass to where you can only see mud (ie. no longer any underlying grass), and tire lines become visible in the mud, you'll be getting off to run.
