Alu disc bike for training. Any good deal ?

I'm going to need a training bike and currently looking for disc bike with good value for the money
Since it's for training, Aluminium frame and Ultegra group or similar are more than enough this purpose

Is anybody of you guys aware of any good deal in Europe ?

New 2014 Cannondale Synapse Alloy Disk?

Cannondale's a good choice, I would also consider the CAADX Disc (I know a few people that ride it and love it).

The aluminum Specialized Crux is quite a looker (seen one in person in yellow and the fellow seemed to like it a decent amount)

Seems like wiggle has some aluminum Ridley's as well but I only know people that ride the carbon version so I can't speak about them all that much.

The Planet X one was available with better customization options - I did consider it strongly but it wasn't tall enough for me. I did get a CaadX last winter and had my first race with it this season. With some modifications I did get the weight below 8kg with parts that are ok for a 85kg rider and withstand the winter training rides. It's not as cheap as the Planet X one but still a good choice for a training bike. For racing it needs to drop some weight..

I wouldn't go for a cross machine if you're going to ride it on the road mostly, perhap a BMC GF02 which is designed for road riding but can be used for cross (rather than the other way around). Cross bikes have high BBs and are too tall for comfortble raod riding IMO.

My experience is from my Ridley, I guess other geometries may work better on the road.
