Christ, can't think of many worse tyres to use for cross, you'd be in the first ditch.
And yes, I am sure.
Just don't go doing anything daft like running them at 70 psi.
For racing cross, they'll be fine

And just so you know how strong wheels actually are..... Lightweights for cross.

Depending on where you are, and what level you are racing at, you may not be able to use 37s.
UCI maximum is 33mm now (probably to stop people using 29er tyres!)
Think i mentioned it in an earlier post........

Tyres like that, at cx pressures, will be pretty unpleasant on anything other than cyclocrossy type terrain.
Running them at "regular riding pressures" may give you issues.
