^^ this one was the other one.

Any reviews from users of these brakes? I'm interested in shedding some weight by replacing my spyres and I'm also interested in trying out the improved feel of a hydraulic.

Did you have to drill out the cable stops in order to run the hydraulic lines through the frame? What about the bottom bracket guide?

No drilling required and the frame has a nice access point under the BB which guides the cables, this can be removed with a small allen bolt.

We are testing this brake since three months.
Untill now they are excellent.
But we didnt check them at low temperatures.
Next weekend we will put several sets in the fridge and ride them after

I finally got my Felt frame, the F5X was lost by the carrier, so I was able to get a F4X as a replacement.

As mentioned, it's Ultegra Di2 plus TRP HY RD brakes, just finished the build to race tomorrow, weighs in at 8.25kg without bar tape - was not my objective to be particularly light. But I'm well pleased with it.

Will post some pics, prior to getting it dirty :)

For anyone using TRP Spyres or I guess the Hy/Rd too, have you found a pad/rotor combo that works better than what comes with the brakes?

Swisstop organic.
Its more important to use special cablesets like TRP Disc Connect or similar ones.

Any ideas?

are you referring to the Juin Tech R1's?

I looked at that and it looks like it's just compressionless housing. I wonder how that is different from other housing that is supposed to be compressionless?

In the TRP Spyre Mud post, people mention adding a barrel adjuster to the cables so you can compensate for excessive pad wear. That seems like a good idea.

Where do you live?

It must be a place without mud since you glued on some Clement LAS...?

The saddle may be heavy but is comfortable though. Is not the area where I'm willing to sacrifice comfort for weight. And those are not the only wheel set that goes on that bike.
