I agree. Though, it does allow a quick comparison on how the tcx frames have changed.

@elmar schrauth- nice bike, mate! I'm curious if you weighed the frame + fork before you built it up, as well as the weight of that wheelset. I would like to hear your opinions on the Tune hubs and how much upkeep they require...

Frame is 1100g for L ( 56cm TT ) , fork 480g ( if memory serves well ). Somewhere I found 950g for size S... but not my measurement.

On front : no issues , rear... I don't think so. Max I rode was 35mm measured and space around was like on limit of "reasonable" to clear dirt.

Note : BH RX "dual" ( disc/canti : 2 dropouts ) has.. "weird" geometry. I bought Wilier because M was to small , L was to big for me. Frame has quite long reach with low head tube. @ my age and riding style : to racy, to agressive. Caad/ Supersix type of geometry if i have to compare to something. But on road some "detorietation" from perfect geo can be compensated, in CX surface will tell you immediately that something went wrong

That was "minus". Pluses : extremely good build quality & accuracy. Same I found on Pina and Neilpryde only. No decals : everything is painted. Visible CF : nothing hidden : you can see layup of fiber ( big plus for me ) - and it's not "decorative". Easy cable routing ( cables, not housing ! ) . Last, not least : frame is real monocoque : molded in 1 piece, same fork ( they use some fancy tech for compression from inside layup ) .

So the right cyclo frame for ww is the BH rx team. Except for the addict cx 10 which is said to be lighter but I don't see the real weight post yet.
But for convinience IMHO the frame should have TA wheel for easier tire change. So it goes to addict cx 10 or Ridley X-Trail.

As for the wheel is it ok to use ZTR 29 Race Gold (1300ish) 135mm?

I recall seeing an alternative version of the TRP Hy/Rd recently but i didn't bookmark the link. They were lighter, cheaper and I believe that the reviews said they didn't have some of the set up complications that the Hy/Rd suffers from.
