It won't be long before I need to replace the bearings in my headset. However, the barrel adjuster seems to be stuck. Any ideas on how to remove it? It's an Alpha Q CX-20 fork.
Sounds like there might be a bit of galvanic corrosion that is bonding the hanger to the cap so spraying it with something like liquid wrench and letting it soak a few minutes might resolve the issue but there is a chance the adjuster wont be serviceable once you get it out.

I'm not sure I know what liquid wrench is. Would it damage the carbon steerer?
