Hi Simon, thanks for the extra info on the brakepads. I can't really see it in the pictures, but it sounds like they are different than the bbb one's in that you can adjust the toe-in. That is really nice, as 'adjusting' your brakes by bending them isn't always good.
Good luck on your upcoming races! Now you can't blame the bikes anymore :wink:

Hi 520 Dan,


I asked Simon about it when I saw him in Belgium on the cross in Ruddervoorde mid Octobre.

He uses the normal (non carbon) SLRs with the covers ripped off and then cuts a piece out of it.

I've got a problem with my saddle on my cyclocrosser. The saddle is crooked, that happened with jumping on the bike. It's a San Marco Basic saddle. Is a SLR stronger? So than I can put that one on my bike.
The bike isn't the problem

i havea lot of road-race customers with broken slr rails

the slr on my crossbike is 2 years old, and still working
all kind of saddles can break
