Trying to decide between these two frames. Does anyone have experience with either or both. What are the weight differences like between the two?

Probably will run Ultegra with single ring setup and carbon Euro X's.

go with the major jake have one right now and hands down best cross bike I have ever ridden.

stiffer than my 09 tarmac spz road bike.

The fork is on par with the cx-20 performance, the ec 90 is a not a good cross fork imo.

Rides better than thier scandium version ( my pit bike)

I love the CX9. I've raced cross on it, embarrassed MTBers around our local single track and ridden it (with road tyres) over the Galibier.

I switched the stock fork to an EC90 a while ago, and after initial problems getting a mini-v to work well, it's now fantastic. The fork absorbs loads of trail buzz but tracks just as well as the Cannondale fork.
