Guys, seems like I saw a tutorial awhile back on the "ebay" look Ti pedal axel install.

Can't seem to find it with the search engine.

Pretty sure I ruined one of my Keo Max Carbon's last night.

Help.

Make sure you have proper tools- deep well sockets to press off parts and press new ones on.
Use a light touch. You will have to ust the collar to push the other parts off- it is plastic. Easy to mess up that collar if socket is off center, use too much force, etc.
Don't overtighten the collar when threading back into pedal body. It is plastic on plastic (more or less)- use blue loctite- inspect often. Look pedals sometimes have the collar back out.
Other than that it is pretty straight forward. I have done about 20 sets.

Have all the right tools and am mechanically inclined. Not sure where I went wrong with the first one.

One of the bearings dust shields was damaged when I removed everything, so I may be replacing bearings.

The pedal is far from smooth at this point, that is for sure.

Are you sure that it is bearing and not seal drag? Looks seem to have a good amount of seal drag but it does not affect the ride.
If bearings are bad- Enduro sells the right bearings.
If you are lucky enough to contact Look when they have Keo2Max replacement spindles you can get everything. Bearings, spacers. dust seal and collar.
