Love to see what you're riding with the full specs and actual (not calculated) weight of the complete wheelset. These are my daily wheels, total weight is 833g (f) and 1092g (r) = 1925 grams.

Enve 3.4 rims
Tune 70/170 hubs (20, 24 hole)
Sapim CX-ray spokes
Pillar aluminum internal nipples
Enve valve extenders
Tune DC14 skewers
Continental Competition (22mm) tires w/ Continental carbon rim glue
KCNC 11/23 titanium cassette

Nice wheels, and good thread idea. It'd be beneficial to breakdown the wheel component as much as possible. Here is what I'm thinking.

Italics indicate calculated/estimated bold = confirmed. Add my 166g red cassette and 56g skewers & total weight is 2176g (confirmed).

Pics are in my signature thread.

Here's the more detailed breakdown of estimated weights. I'm a bit surprised how close the estimate is to the actual...

Enve 3.4, front @ 355g, rear @ 380g 735g
Tune 70/170, 20/24 hole, 75g/170g 245g
Sapim CX-ray, black, @ 4.5g/ea 198g
Pillar aluminum internal @ .38g/ea 17g
Basic wheelset subtotal 1195 grams

Continental Competition, 260g/ea 520g
Enve Valve Extenders 4g
Continental carbon rim cement, 20g/ea 40g
Tune DC14 skewers 33g
KCNC Titanium, 11/23 116g
Subtotal 713 grams

Total Calculated Tubular Wheelset 1908 grams
Actual Weight 1925 grams
Wilier Cento1 SR
13.10 lbs (5.95 kgs) w/Enve 3.4-Tune 70/170 & Conti Competitions tubulars
12.53 lbs (5.68 kgs) w/FarSports 24-Extralite & Vittoria CX EVO II tubulars

Good thread idea. Here are the wheels and tires from my Supersix Evo, stock Mavic Ksyrium Elites (Rims, hubs and spokes) and the stock Schwalbe Ultremo ZX, 700x23c tires. Front weighs in at 998g and the back with the Sram PG-1070 11-28 cassette weighs in at 1472g. Be interesting to see some more posts on this topic. I have Boyd 38 CC's coming in next week, I'll weigh and post those too.

My go to wheelset is Ambrosio Nemesis rims laced to Dura Ace 7801 hubs using silver Sapim Race spokes and brass nipples.

Rims= 464g each
Hubs= 392g total (127g front, 265g rear).
Total wheelset mass= 1,810g

Skewers= 124g (Dura Ace)
Cassette= 190g (Dura Ace 11x28)
Tires= 520g (Bontrager Race X-Lite)
Glue= 36g, if I remember correctly (Tufo tape)

Total for everything: 2,680g

Great idea for a thread, but adding in cassettes and tires/tubes seems to throw too much into the mix. Wheel are wheels. Adding tires and drivetrain components adds too many variables into the mix for easy comparison. Tire sizes vary, cassette ratios vary - providing large variance in weight. Great idea but I say stick to the wheels.

That's a good point, but this thread does have a rather real world feel to it. Like maybe "I want to set my wheels up like that guys" kind of thing. Maybe we can simply have lots of combinations of things and see where it goes.

LCoolB: I'm not a racer, just a 60-year-old life-long rider for fitness/enjoyment. (My Wilier is shown at:http://weightweenies.starbike.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=95887). I have a Stans 340 wheelset w/Extralite hubs being built this month at FWB that I'll use for riding in steep hills or on days when I don't want to use the Enves. I'll post them when they're done...
