I switched from a toupe that I broke two times to the new Bontrager paradigm it's similar to the Toupe although for me more comfortable and I hope stronger.
Thanks

Mike

Just got the new 2013 Toupe- awesome! Fixed everything that was wrong with the old one.

Now has a full carbon base that doesn't flex, bigger channel, redesigned nose that is both wider and has a channel almost to the tip, they fixed the way the rear flares so it doesn't hit your hamstrings, it has a grippier cover, and finally doesn't have those terrible plastic bits on the rear.

Oh, and weighed in at 5 grams under for the pro version with carbon rails.
Don't take me too seriously. The only person that doesn't hate Froome.

Selle Italia SLR on my road bike, Fizik Aliante on my MTB bike. As Danton said, you have to try the saddle, to see if suits you.

Good news on the terrible plastic bits is they were easy to remove, leaving you with a lot lighter saddle.

The new Toupe Pro is listed at 165g in the same size as the saddle pictured above. So in fixing all the other problems they added 30+ grams...

Hey all,

I forgot to mention that I created this thread (viewtopic.php?f=3&t=114962) and your input would really help this project that could help us figure out "if I like Saddle X, will I like Saddle Y?" in the future.

Thanks in advance!

Selle Italia SLR Flow on 2 road bikes. Like it better than the Fizik Antares VS that I was using previously.

Wait the S-Works with the cut out gives you numbness over 40 miles?

No, I said the antares 00 would give me numbness over 40 miles.

Don't worry, I interpreted it the same way you did.
