First up, my 58cm S-Works SL4 weighed in at 962g with hanger, seat collar and bottle cage bolts (and those cable routing plastic guides). I don't remember how heavy the fork was, but it was respectable.
I have not ridden an SL4 Pro, but I have ridden a Venge Pro back to back with my S-Works SL4 (my friend and I swap on occasion). I found that the Venge Pro model was noticeably less stiff than my SL4 (I'm 82kg).
My personal observations.

But of course venge is not meant to be as stiff as the sl4 that's the reason of tarmac being. Venge has aerodynamic qualities and other qualities better used in straight and not in the demanding climbs. If Venge was as stiff as tarmac and having weight close to tarmac, then why anyone would use tarmac? Venge stiffness,weight<Sl4 it is stated in many forums.
I think the point is that you would be hard pressed to get the Venge as light as the SL4 while still maintaining the aero tube profiles. Like I said, its not a direct comparison, but I think the development of layup schedules is a contributor to the noticeable differences.
Who knows, my friend agreed with me. He only had the pro version because its in his contract that he gets two specialized bike per year. Also, if its any indication he is currently waiting to take delivery of an SL4 frame.

EDIT
I really only piped in to highlight that S-works frames are definitely lighter. I haven't done an intro thread for my new bike or anything because when I'm not working, I'm either training on the bike, or too tired from training to do anything but sleep on the couch.
