I think that's an operational prototype.
(not for the market)

But I did see shifters from on the original site that I lost (where I got the pic from)
that were wider and the lettering on it was much bigger.
And they were far lighter gray than 7900 shifters.

I think there is a SRM Power Control in front of the bars so maybe that is an older DA 7800 SRM?

i dont think there's a 7900 SRM so they use the 7800 w/ 7900 rings

but yeah, looks like 7800 pedals, guess he doesn't like the 7900 carbon pedals

Yep they are. And since that pic looks to be from the 2011 Tour Down Under, I don't expect you'll see anything unexpected there.
