I hope that's not the case, I have a 9070 evo on order, and the last word on delivery was the end of this month.

Oh sounds worrying, I too have a bike with 9070 (s-works venge) on order and last I heard was delivery in February but nothing confirmed. I have yet to see any 9070 group on a customer bike so that is of course a bit odd this late in the year.

GreenEdge is definitely on 10-speed Shimano for now...

I am really interested in the new wheels too. There is a nice C35 tubular in the classified here now. Proto marked hubs.

^I noticed that too! And since I have a canyon Di2 E11 on order I was thinking they could go well with that build. He is selling them for about a third of the retail price too. Sounds too good to be true! Pffff... 1 sec... 2 sec... SOLD! lol :beerchug:

Problem with the C35's is that they arent the lightest (1360gr) and they arent the most aero either. What exactly justifies their 2300euros retail price is beyond me. They must be bombroof and ride like a dream.

By the way Canyon is promissing there CF di2 bikes for week 18 2013 which is end of April.

The C35 are going to be bomb proof and one heck of an all around wheel. Nice new wide aero profile and opt-bal lacing for a stiff wheel. Nothing flashy but built to take a punishment. I can see them being a good option sub $2K when they go on sale next year.

Geoff,

Do you have any idea on what's causing the delay in delivering 9070? I had heard that all of the wiring harnesses and such were already done and wouldn't hold things up as they did with 7970's release.

Heard rumors that the new Di2 is having some sort of "tuning trouble" at the moment from a pro team that is gonna be supplied by Shimano next near.

Just wanted to ask a compatibility question:

Can you run the new FC-9000 crank while the rest of the group is 7900 DA?
Also can you run the 9000 chain with 7900 cassettes?

Sorry, I kept forgetting to ask.

GreenEdge was testing the Di2 9000 since July. The delays are apparently just down to normal production scheduling and not due to any technical issues. They now expect that they will get them in February...

Isn't the harder plastic shell below the smooth rubber hoods missing on the photo of ome rodriguez? shimano's STI's on the shimano website look to me like a much closed body up the lever arm. No?
