White paint laughs in the face of Carbolift. The best you can hope for is the Carbolift to soften the paint enough for you to get underneath it with a scapel/razor blade and scrape it off in chunks.

Like many people I've contacted carbolift (on here, their website and twitter) with no reply.
After hearing a few people being dissatisfied with their service, is there an alternative company/product?

I used a product from Wickes that works about as well as Carbolift (not well at all but does the job in the end) and costs a fraction of the price

Cheers Dov, will most probably give it a go after trying it on something small first.

Dov,

Did you use that product on the frame or wheels? I am looking for something that will strip my wheels of paint. I am thinking any "water washable" stripper would work...without doing any damage to the carbon (fingers crossed).

I ended up cancelling my order w/ carbolift after waiting forever and just bought it from a local airplane supply place. Not sure where you're located but they have two stores (one on each coasts in the US). They're listed on carbolift's website if you are interested.

I am thinking any "water washable" stripper would work.

All strippers are neutralized with water, so that doesn't mean they are safe for carbon or your skin

I like the sound of this wicked stuff. Any more info on it Dov? What's the best way to use it?

I have a spare carbon fork that I might give a whirl with this stuff. If it knackers it, it's no great loss.

I used it as per the instructions. Thin coat, 30 minutes late thick coat, don't brush out, leave until it bubbles. Scrape off when paint/lacquer has softened.
