I think I will run a different brake on the back and the tri-rig Omega on the front once they become available and I get my frame back. I think that you are right in the importance of the aero brake on the rear of a bike like the S-5. One of the frames big selling points is that it is designed to shield the rear brakes from the air. Might feel abit strange having two different strength brakes but I will certainly get used to it.

I thought I was done testing brakes, then Magura again offered to provide one. Since I'm sure many people would be interested in how it performs, I'm sort of in stand-by mode until it either arrives, or I know for certain that it won't arrive.

Even once the testing is wrapped up, I'll still need to find a bit of time to finish my report...it is perhaps 2/3s written, but still has a ways to go.

For now, suffice to say that the TriRig is the most aerodynamic mechanical brake currently on the market...possibly the most aerodynamic brake currently on the market, period, depending on how the Magura measures up.

Yes for sure but just give me a bit to button up the build as I need to install the Specialized Virtue bottle on there as well as get the cable run sorted out finally.

Very nice :D black bikes rule!

Finally got the routing situation sorted out with a jagwire noodle. A bit tight but it does fit and is relatively smooth!

Neither, the stem is specific to the scott plasma, I'm willing to bet if you use the regular evo stem you won't have a problem with cable routing.

Heres a side shot, still need to cut extensions and sort the fit out.

Looking forward to your thoughts/review. I imagine most of the Omegas will go on TT bikes, where braking is not as critical as on a road bike, so curious to see what you think of them on your SLC.
