Haven't heard of Rotor doing that, but have heard first hand that ACROS is producing a road drivetrain group with both disk and rim hydraulic.

re: ACROS - I was told at InterBike 2012 that it is "expected within the year" - my guess is sometime in 2013 it will come to market.

I wonder if the Force and Red are due for some minior update, something like the DA9100 with support for 11-30 cassette. Software update for eTap programming/synco would also be super welcoming. Direct mount brakes I have given up waiting and went with da, and ee.

SRAM has said they have no intention of making direct mount brakes b/c they feel discs are the future for road brakes. They also said they had no intention of doing an electronic groupset and we saw how that played out...

I think SRAM Red has 11-30 cassette, but I don't want to give up the 28T in place for 27T, which may end up forcing me to use the 30T
BTW, I much rather have 12 than 11T to keep the ratio closer for the rest of the gears. But of course, I am still riding 53/39 ...
