Haven't heard of Rotor doing that, but have heard first hand that ACROS is producing a road drivetrain group with both disk and rim hydraulic.

Nice. I'd be all over a cross specific version of XX1.

re: ACROS - I was told at InterBike 2012 that it is "expected within the year" - my guess is sometime in 2013 it will come to market.

Still no Red direct mount brakes..

Might have to get some 9100s to finish the missus' groupset. Bet as soon as I do, SRAM release theirs the next day :|

Resurrecting an old thread. As a hardcore SRAM fan I was hoping for some news here.

I wonder if the Force and Red are due for some minior update, something like the DA9100 with support for 11-30 cassette. Software update for eTap programming/synco would also be super welcoming. Direct mount brakes I have given up waiting and went with da, and ee.

SRAM has said they have no intention of making direct mount brakes b/c they feel discs are the future for road brakes. They also said they had no intention of doing an electronic groupset and we saw how that played out...

I think SRAM Red has 11-30 cassette, but I don't want to give up the 28T in place for 27T, which may end up forcing me to use the 30T

BTW, I much rather have 12 than 11T to keep the ratio closer for the rest of the gears. But of course, I am still riding 53/39 ...
