Which ti-carbon Seven are you talking about, Seven makes two. The elium is new, the top tube, seat tube, and seat stays are carbon. The odonata has a carbon seat tube, and seat stays. I have seen several of the odonatas in person and rode one, I have not seen an elium yet.
The frames are a piece of art. But I always worry about lugged frames. I have a friend with a Merlin Cielo (also a nice looking lugged carbon-ti) he has had it rebuilt twice, no crashes, last time they sent him a whole new frame.
I knew those campy ultra were expensive, thought you could get them for about 3k. But to spend that much on a set of clinchers when you could get some ACs or Rolf Elans, which are lighter, and cost much less, seems like a better deal. I thought if he spent that much he would've gotten the ADAs. If money wasn't an issue what wheels would you get. Please don't tell me Zipps.

Has anyone out there rode the Stratus? I hear they are about 1500g, not extremely light.

I was talking about the elium. It's soooo sweet! But it's really a bike that you wouldn't want to ride, way to nice. Almost a collectable. If you ever see one you'll understand.
