 I'm in love

I love it Long time, Pinarello must put It on the Market, It's really the best Paris Paint I have ever seen, if the Red colours become blue and the fork stays standard (black) with white letters It will also look awesome :D but was I Right with what I said about the bike?

I spoke with Barry Hoban today and he assures me the colour will be on general release by the end of May.

 I heard that Fausto wore this little number at the Fondo last year. The news came back that Assos was releasing this some time this spring but I've not heard any updates on that. Thanks for the picture faz! (I'll check my pm's)

You know I took a year off from cycling & missed these.
Is there a reason for the shape?

Also the wrinkle some of the Pina tubes have.
Just curious.
Thanks

[/quote] I love that jersey, hope they do bring it out. The Assos site is strange, they often seem to be behind on what's currently out. I would like the Swiss national jersey they do, but haven't seen it anywhere. Respects to Barry. Very fine rider indeed.

There's a nice little article here all about him for the younger guys who perhaps haven't heard of him.

Lee - thanks for the Hoban article. I met him once in my LBS and I think he was surprised at how much I knew about him and the other riders of his era. The Ghent - Wevelghem win ahead of Merckx and the Gypsy: Awesome. He's 65 now, but looks good, especially since he lost some weight.

He's not lost one ounce of his enthusiasm either. He still talks passionately about the races and riders of both this and his era. I could listen to him for hours.

KB,

The swiss national jersey is widely available in the US. Here are a couple of links for you:

http://www.competitivecyclist.com/za/CC ... ID=7&MODE=

http://www.excelsports.com/new.asp?page ... Code=ASSOS

http://www.cbike.com/assos_millenium_jersey.htm#Swiss

I am sure one of these places would be willing to ship to you in the UK.

OF the three I would say to try Competitive Cyclist first. Brendan Quirk there is very very helpful. Tell him Geoff in Bermuda sent you!
