I have both of them, I like the Endurance better, and the Free Aero even more :)

And for fit, it's Italian so you should take at least one size larger than normal.

The Endurance has the better chamois. They started using it in the Bodypaint and then brought it down to the Aero and Endurance IIRC. Can't go wrong with them, they're really comfortable in my opinion.

I had the velocissimo, and the endurance.. and i have the free aero. THe velocissmo are by far the worst of the bunch - I returned them. They are OK -- but the fit has almost zero compression.. My male parts felt very loose in them. They also bunched up here and there when moving, kinda like a poorly tailored pair of pants. Final thing is that the design of the chamois stitching makes it look like you have a heart over your groin area.. I thought this was pretty lame, and my wife cracked up when she saw it as well.. so back they went.

The endurance is a step up -- fit is much better, and I like the chamois. More compression, and very comfortable. When I'm riding, however, my male parts still have too much room.. Its not a huge deal, but its noticeable to me. They also bunch up a tiny bit due to the quality of the material.

Now to the free aero... They are so much nicer, its silly. The fit is amazing - perfect amount of compression. The bib themselves also disappear when I'm riding, more so then the other 2 models. When riding, again, they fit perfectly - my male parts are all held well in place. They have different material panels on the inside of the legs, more durable, and slightly heavier weight, which I really like. The bib material does not come up nearly as high in the front than the other two models, which is super comfortable - and VERY easy to take bathroom stops with. I think this is why they call it the "free" aero. The leg grippers are also superb - worlds more comfortable than the other models.

Its not like the other 2 models are bad - but when compared to the free aero, they just suck! I ended up buying 2 pairs of the free aero, and I have one pair of endurance, which gets me through any week. If your patient, you can get the free aero on ebay for $130-$160. I got my endurance brand new on ebay for $70. Even if you had to pay $185 for the free aero - which is what most shops put it on sale for, they are worth it. the extra $80-$100 means nothing if you ride a few times a week all season long. FYI, i'm 6'2, 200 lbs with a 32" waist (big shoulders, little waist) and the XL is perfect in all the Castelli models.
