I've been saying it for a couple years now, I don't want the brand's name on EVERY tube of the bike. The brand name goes on the down tube and the model's name goes on the top tube. Done. That's it. Racer's can have Team models with advertising all over them and some racer wannebes will want them but I don't want those logos all over my bike.

It does rather beg the question "just how big does a BB really need to be in order to provide adequate stiffness?"

The recent years have seen manufacturers making them bigger and bigger for marketing purposes imho. Well done to Cannondale for sticking two fingers up at market trends and sheep like cyclists.

Nice: SRAM Red "Green."

Nice: Thin chain stays to match the thin seat stays, assuming they work as advertised.

Odd: For some reason, the matte black just doesn't grab me near as well as Specialized's SL3 matte black. Is it the placement of the logos?!

Nice: At sub 700g, I hope the frame set isn't priced too high! I'm looking forward to seeing / reading some real world frame weights.

I think that the frame set will be rather popular on here if it is significantly lower priced than the stratospherical cost of the R5Ca (£ 7500 here in London, that's $12,275.95 :unbelievable: )

Zinn claims that the paint on the frame adds 150g  .
Cannondale are really not that stupid, right?

You buy them from a Cannondale dealer.

So true - the "new" Addict especially since it's allegedly being out out to pasture by Scott.

In essence, the C'dale SuperSix Evo can be regarded as the successor to the Scott Addict. :D

I think they have to announce a price before we can really make that conclusion

I'm tired of STW graphics...why don't just show the stifness and weight numbers and let us do the stupid divison?

The SuperSix EVO seems a new benchmark in stifness but when you get the real stiffness values (STW*Weight) the Tarmac SL3 one are 10Nm/º higher. The choice of STW graphics seems a marketing decision but we aren't stupid.
