Hi

Can anyone confirm that when freewheeling using etap red it is noisy. I have only just picked up my new bike with them fitted & when freewheeling it is very noisy. Did ask bike shop & they say that is normal just wanted to check. Thanks for any advice

What does that have to do with the eTap?

Freewheeling noise (that ratcheting sound) is a function of the freehub, and not any parts of the eTap groupset.

If they said that's normal for eTap, you should find a new bike shop.

I highly doubt the bike shop is responsible for this misunderstanding.
