Weight Weenies

All right, here is where I am at right now. The fork, stem, and seatpost are still debateable. Am I forgetting anything? Also, I weighed the standard cables that came with the levers, but plan on using Metawire or Nokon. How much weight can I expect to lose there? Any help or suggestions appreciated.

Computer perhapes? Plus the other thing you cant really weigh, i.e. air and grease. You sure you want to use those tires? There not something that you can really ride around on. The front I beleive is a track only tire, or for use on a time trial with a clean course.

I have used these before and while they do have a poor tread life they ride great. Besides I will not be on this bike ever day. My good old ti Colnago w/ std 32 hole built wheels and heavy training tires is my training bike. Most people do not include computers in the equasion, so I don't plan on including it. As far as tubular glue and grease, how much weight do you think I can expect it to add? Anyone have any ideas? I would rather not have any suprises when I get it finished.

Every time I do a build there is usually an error of about 50g, so on every bike build I make I add 50g.

Go for a USE carbon seatpost. They are absolutely great and will save you about 50 grams. They can however be a bit dodgy to setup the first time so be warned.

Ive got the same Tufo tubulars on my bike and I used the new Tufo extreme tape. It works great and is light.

This is a well made post by a guy that will talk to you. 137 grams for the short 27.2 mm post. I heard that he makes a lighter one but I'm not sure.

What is the post diameter?

Post Diameter is 30mm. I was thinking of trying switching to an AX-Lightness post and Storck frok which would save me at least 150g putting me under my target of sub-14 lbs.

Yah. I thought the sam thing. The seat post is actually provided with the frame. I am guessing a 27.2 would work with a shim.
