for sure....

You shouldn't, anyway. SRAM is not Italian - neither as a brand, history, nor origin of manufacturing.

Gruppo's are Italian, as brand, history and origin of manufacture...

SRAM makes Gruppos... apparently you don't know much about what *they* make.

You're right.
I give up on the English language.

Prendrefeu:
Please refer to SRAM by it's full name of Scott, Ray, and Sam rather than it's acronym. Geeeez. You must hate SRAM too! Lol did you have a rough day on Wednesday? You seem ultra pissy.

I always have cringed, ever since that SRAM pr guy first introduced the force group, at the use of the word Grouppo by the American company. It sounds as cheap as the commercials on tv for those "artisan" frozen pizzas.

You'd be right if you were knocking the word *Pizza* to describe *Pizzas*

Or pasta to describe pasta...

Or Gruppo to describe Gruppo... oh wait... you just....

I'm in Chicago at the CX State Championships and saw what I was asked not to take photos of.

Did you not take a photo of something wireless with Bluetooth?

Who cares what they asked, you are out in public, take the photo...and why has nobody else, like the big mags got any photos? Hmmm....

Yeah, they need electronic, and if they can do it 200gms lighter than 9070 Di2 or Camp Super EPS...even better.

I hear ya, but I work with some of those guys and didn't want to burn any bridges.

I can still play with matches though

Seriously though, I was only in the States for Thanksgiving and the race was brutal 10°, snow, the works.

I'm thinking SRAM being local and sponsoring it's employees for the State Championships assumed low press, rightfully so and banked on no one really noticing while they continue to field test products. A colleague of mine actually spotted it when we were approached and asked not to take any images so I didn't get as clear a look, but it's certainly coming.

I'm assuming their electronic shifting is aimed at roadies primarily, CX just happens to be a good filth test :noidea:

I wonder which will be available first?

Or an electronic group?

Same thing happened with the Hydro stuff. Pics of it being raced low key by employees and engineers at some Chi CX races and some in SD. No reason to doubt this report.
