I finalized my glue fixture, in upcoming week I will make custom length axles for my fatbike and later for others.

Currently my fixture can take BOR XC666 , AX Morpheus and Hollowgram, these will be sent out to customers very soon.

Did a slight crosspost here and on MTB forum as I see it´s of interest for all in WW.

Glue Fixture AX.jpg

Here is a glue fixture for Ax Lightness Morpheus crank axle, my plan is to cut it up as close as to bearing surfaces and replace the cutted out part with carbon fiber tube.
This fixture is built with very close tolerance, with less than 0.1mm out of parallellism and less than 0.1mm clearance in hole before clamping down axle.

Interesting, aside from custom length, what is the weight saving?

I don´t know the exact weight saving on a Morpheus axle but on my earlier Hollowgram axles there was a signficant reduction in weight.

If I recall right a 132mm axle weighs 116 grams.
