I like the Merckx MXM a lot. Great bike, really stiff and responds perfect in races. The bike is shorter than my Trek OCLVs and corners excellent. Just one perfect race horse! 8) :thumbup:

Yes I have Shimano SPD-SL on all my bikes (and shoes). The Trek(s) on the background are training bikes.
Thus I have a brand new (never used) pair of Campagnolo Record Pro-Fit pedals for sale here; they came with the bike.

Nice bike! Did you look into the axm? Wondering if you compared the two on test rides and what made you choose the mxm. Thanks

Actually I asked for an AXM, but that couldn't be deliverd yet in December 2004, a pitty. Merckx said there isn't a great difference between MXM and AXM... :noidea:

I think the MXM looks nicer. The 3XM also looks quite nice, although I wasn't so impressed with the finish on it.
