I remind that a low profile wheel war build by Dirl&Obermeayer in 1990. They where the begin of the high profil LW.
Some pros rode them for uphill races.
Lets wait for the Eurobike this autumn. i will take a look on the new wheels.

Best regards....dark_albert

According to Carbonsport:

The new low-profiles will come in an „Obermayer“ setup only. That means they will have the special low-friction bearings front and a TUNE Mag 160 hub with carbon axle rear.

As far as we can see now, 900 grams is realistic for the average set. The stiffness data we already have is a little higher than Mavic Ksyrium SL.

Sounds like "expensive" to me.
