Sorry Deruneinholbare!!
I'm just being facetious! I know you meant cogset, it just made me chuckle as I've just come back from Monickendam and bought a pair of clogs with a view to fitting some Look Keo cleats on for the Christmas Timetrials we have in the UK!!

why do you want to avoid Ultegra?
I'm assuming DA is not an option due to price?
"Ride it like you've just stolen it!"
for 9 speed (and I'm assuming they do the same for 10...) shimano sell the 4 smallest "loose" cogs seperately. You can buy just these cogs to replace worn cogs on your cassette...
is this an option to save you some cash?

I just bought another Ultegra 10spd 12-27 cassette on ebay for $55 a couple of weeks ago. Sure it weighs more but the DA cassette costs like three times that amount! It's just not worth it.....well maybe for the race day wheels. But for everyday riding in poo conditions....gotta go with an ultegra cassette.

Hi,
Why not SRAM?
Never heard anything bad about them even though they're not exactly lightweight they're really well made....
Together with a SRAM chain and Powerlink you'd probably be riding happily for at least a thousand miles or so.
I mean, I don't hear the guys from the CSC team complaining about SRAM stuff so, why not?
That's interesting.
What's longevity like on those cogs?
