How to cross the spokes? Just over 3 or like this with - I don't know the word, french: ligatures? Is this good for any spokes and which are the advantages?

This is often known as Tie and Soldering. The book "The Art of Wheel Building" by Geard Schraner. This book gives a good explination of both the process and the results.
