I peeled the decals off my EC90 wheels and used acetone to remove the residual glue. I used a scotchbrite pad and some elbow grease then buffed them clean with a cotton t-shirt.

Not a closeup but the results were clean.

Anyone ever remove the graphics on Ultegra 6700 wheels? The graphics do not seem to be decals or stickers, rather laminated or something directly to the wheel and definitely cannot be peeled off.

Is this similar to the OP's EA90 SLX wheels? Wonder if acetone would work on my Ultegra 6700 wheels. :noidea:

Acetone would work. I tried on mine when I did my stem and seat post, but ran out of acetone. The one little decal I tried was easy to remove.

Sorry to pull this thread back up.

Has anyone removed the decals from Pre 2014 Easton EC90 Aero rims? If so how and after pics?
