Finally got my frame back from the resprayers.
Not a proper weight weenies build but I thought you might be interested to see how the Scapula looks on a Trek. Pretty standard build for everyday training and durability.

Trek 2003 5500
Scapula SP
Campagnolo Neutron clinchers with carbon hubs and Spin Stix QR's
Record with exception of Chorus cassette (2003 rear derailleur, personally I don't like that carbon cage - I'd rather have the 10g)
Wipperman SS chain
Phil Wood Ti/Mag BB
Chris King headset
Thomson post and stem
Fizik Aliante saddle
Deda shallow drops
Cateye dual wireless

Amazing how much better it looks without one of Trek's spectacularly uninspiring paint jobs.

:D looks a lot better without the decals the only thing that spoils it is that freaky stem it makes it look like a touring bike

What is the rake on the fork, as I think Trek forks are usually a 45mm.
Also, where did ya get the paint - Great Idea!

I agree about the stem, it's +/- 10 degree and I plan to flip it as soon as my bad back eases! The paint job was done by Argos Racing Cycles in Bristol (UK), it is metalic black and looks great. The rake on the Scapula is 44mm so pretty close to the 520g OCLV tank I took off, it is also very stiff.
