Hi everybody

I'm new to this forum and I have a question.
I can buy a pair of wheels, Bontrager XXX Lite, the new version. They are never used.
My question is: Are these wheels good enough to ride with them in competition? These wheels are meant for climbing, are they good enough? Are they stiff?
And what about Lighweight wheels? Are they so much better than this pair of wheels?

Many thanks in advance

The XXX lite is stiff for a low profile carbon rim. They are built with fairly high spoke tension and the rim is well made. Reynolds makes the rim for Bontrager they are not oclv110 like they claim. Lightweights are going to offer much better stiffness and aerodynamics but cost more.

The Bontys are plenty stiff for competition. They offer an all around nice ride, the lightweights are ultra stiff but cost twice as much.

The bontys are also available as a carbon aero rim, it offers a little more stiffness and a little extra weight.

The rims are OCLV110 and they are actually made in-house by Bontrager/Trek

Ive had a set of both standard and aero from them and have liked them both alot.
