Wheelbuilders using Ambrosio rims?

I'll admit that I'm smitten with the old school tubulars used during Paris-Roubaix.
Anyone know of a reputable North American wheel-builder who builds up Ambrosio Nemesis rims?
Wheelsmith in the UK won't ship here, and Competitive Cyclist has em, but their prices are laughable.

Thanks,
Cip

Order the rims from ItalTechno and have them shipped directly to the builder of your choice. I just built up a pair of Nemesis rims to White Industries hubs today for a guy that got them from ItalTechno.

Or just send them to Troy.
What spokes did you use and was was the final weight?

Silver cx-rays, which is what he insisted on, I would have preferred 14/15 butted spokes. I didn't weigh the complete wheels yet but I did weigh the rims and they are 463 and 464g. I will weigh the complete wheels tomorrow when I take pictures of them.

I built these 2 days ago. Ambrosio F20 rims, 32H, 380g each. Record hubs (114g front, 228g rear). Revs with alloy nipples except for RDS where I used Comps with brass nipples. Set weighed 1465g.

Cipo, If you have trouble finding the rims PM or email me, as I have some F20s and Nemesis rims here.

Koen, those are super sharp!
Anyone care to comment on the difference between the F20s and Nemesis.
Seems they are a mm wider, but 90 grams lighter.
Any reason not to go with the F20?
I weigh 170 lbs, so does that put me on the edge?

Cippo, you'd probably be better suited to the F20s TBH, Nemesis may be a bit of overkill even for really rough surfaces.
F20s built with DT comps (maybe revs up front if you want the smooth ride) should be about perfect for a 170 pounder.
If you're concerned about the strength (which you shouldn't be BTW) maybe consider going 36h on the rear?
Nemesis will be about 70g heavier per rim.

F20s around 370g +- 10g
Nemesis around 440-450g

Cippo, I am 74kg, about 163lbs. If you are not going to smash them and only ride normal roads with the occasional rough patches, the F20's will be fine at your weight. Peace of mind is everything, so if it would be in the back of your mind, go with the Nemesis. I am going to test my wheels on the cobbles next week. Just curious how they hold up hehe.

Frank, yeap, they are a very smooth ride.

You can order Ambrosio rims from this US webshop: http://www.ital-tecno.com/shopdisplaypr ... +-+TUBULAR

Or you can order a complete new wheelset with Ambrosio rims, Campagnolo Record hubs and DT Swiss Competition spokes for here: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 0514778691
Exact same build as the Competitive Cyclist Nemesis wheels, minus the Vittoria Pavé tyres, but $750 instead of $1,275.
The eBay builder also commented below the ad that he does custom wheels if you want another build than shown.
