Look aerostem stuck - Need some help

Anyone with experience with a look aerostem. I wanted to adjust mine to be a touch higher. I followed the look video but I can't see how to get the two wedge pieces to loosen. In the video they tap it with a soft mallet.

Any ideas? I'm wondering if I tightened it too much and that's why they're now stuck.
