I have a TCR which doesn't have a built-in derailleur cable adjusters on the frame. So I have to use the type of adjuster that is part of the cable housing. The problem is that while riding these adjusters loosen up.

Any of you guys have this problem? Any ideas how to solve this?

I had the same problem and when I upgraded our TCR's to 10-speed, I replaced the inline barrel adjusters that came with the TCR with Jagwire rockets: http://shop.airbomb.com/site/intro.cfm? ... SKU=BR4048

Yes, one of the big flaws in many modern frames. I had to make custom ones for my CAAD7 as well. The only easy solution I can offer is to apply some light releasing Loctite 222 on the threads to resist unintended adjustment.

locktite works, or also a little grease or linseed oil on the threads will keep them from turning, until you want them too.

My Jagwire in-line adjusters wouldn't keep still on my CR1. So I just took them out and used Pedro's Cable Puller to install the front derailleur cable. I don't miss those adjusters.

two wraps of teflon pipe tape on the treads will do the trick

I had the same problem.

I gave up on the adjusters and found that without them, I could adjust the derailleur and it would stay set for weeks of riding.

I don't miss them at all.
