Totally non-aero too
I hope you are joking...
He is in the peleton, probably when it was averaging 30 kms/h in the first two hours of the stage. No need for low drag positions; a lot of need for relaxing on the bike I guess.

That's true. And their SUP welding process is very good, better then many other brands (Fir, Shimano, Campy etc)
Whow! That's a pretty damn nice garage door!

Well, heis position IS pretty upright
(and his time trial position isn't very good too IMHO)

The Tour test has shown that the K-SL wheels are about as aero as a 32 spoke build with CX-Ray spokes. That's about 30% better compared to a 32 round spoke build.
In the real world? I contend it matters absoluty nothing at all which wheels you use, unless it's a TT where all other factors are taken care of as well, or when climbing when you don't want to have a bike that's 500-1000 grams heavier than your competition.

or if you're spending alot of time riding at the front, like in a breakaway. In the bunch I agree it doesn't make much of a difference.

I reckon that the embarrasing thought of getting dropped when using a set of go faster wheels is far more beneficial to performance than the slight aerodynamic/weight advantage to be gained. I know thats why I'm not using my lightweights at the moment

What made you come to this conclusion?
Read the test. The K wheels and 32 bladed Tune clincher build score around 250 gram resistance average. The windtunnel graph shows that the MA3 32 round spoke build scores about 360 grams average.

No breakaway gets away unless the peloton lets you get away.

Got a link to that tour test, or at least the results. I'd just like to see what some of the wheels I am considering score. Thanks
