I decided to get a Power2Max powermeter, but I want to choose between S-works or Lightning crank. Both are compatible, but I have no experience with them in use and Specialized doesn't list actual weight of crankarms.
I would like to know if Lightning are worth extra price and what is the weight penalty of S-works.

More to the point, has anyone seen data indicating the Power2Max is accurate?

I was worried by Jeff Jones' test.

Attached is the accuracy profile of my one. At least it is consistent side to side as the one it replaced (they were very quick with a warranty) had a 2% difference when in the big dog (and was over reading by more).

I observed variation in accuracy (as I tested many times) on different occasions although part of that will be the granularity of the calibration figures.

It will be used for Specialized Transition with OS BB that I guess is a bb30 compatible, but I also would like to use it on my Scott CR1 Team Issue with bb adapter.

well that pretty much answers the question for you. if you want to use it on a non-bb30 frame (your cr1), it has to be the lightning.
