Can someone chime-in on Hollowgram SISL2 weight reduction besides ~ 30 grams from crank arms?
Hollowgram SI was reported ~ 575 grams with FSA chainrings.

15 grams can be shaved off by upgrading to Ultegra 6650 chainrings 110BCD, pinnacle in shifting compared to flexy FSA.
Reference from my setup:

FSA 50t = 114g
FSA 34t = 34g

Ultegra 6650 50t = 97g
Ultegra 6650 34t = 36g

would the Q factor on the SISL be wider than the SI due to the SISL being 1.5mm wider crank arm (3mm difference in total)? Q Factor weenie.

Can you use these cranks in non BB30 application for example BB86 ?

Looking for a light stiff replacement crankset for the giant propel.

Short answer, No! Long answer, search the forum and you will find a considerable amount of discussion on the topic.

Thanks, after posting this I did read on some other topics and read it was not possible.

The search continues for a lightweight crank for the propel without breaking the bank !

Me, my 170mm sisl2 cranks are almost 60 grams (for the couple) lighter than my previous 170mm Si

It's definitely wider by 3mm. SISL is 144mm and SISL2 is 147mm. It's probably easier to adjust your cleats to get the narrowest Q-factor.

Can't deal with 149mm cranks, get crazy knee/hip pain if it goes too wide. So I basically have two pairs of shoes, one for each bike if it's not an SISL crank.

I've used the old 104 spindle on SiSL2 cranks with no issue, which reduces the Q factor to narrower than the old SL cranks.

Hi guys
I have old Cannondale Hollowgram with 175mm silver SI arms and 53/39 chainrings.
Can I use it with newest Spidering or there are some problems to replace MKV chainrings?

http://www.7hundred.co.uk/32457/product ... ndard.aspx

I dont get it if it has something with spindle - I believe I got 104 as I have oldest Hollowgram model.
So as amateur Id like to get clear answer if it fits or do I have to buy something and if yes - what?

Thank you.

All hollowgram crank arms are forwards and backwards compatible with any spider.

The splines of the spindle are specific to Cannondale cranks, so you are limited to replacing the crank arms only with same or newer versions from Cannondale.

Do You remember the weights od Sisl2 arms?
My 172.5mm came in for 131g (NDS) and 137 (DS). I hoped it will be less as I saw some claimed around 122/128g.

Mine are 128 (nds) and 132 (ds), not the lighter ones but still ok, I know some 170mm ones are 122/125
