No problem here with OS parts (most of my bike is from OS) but the name change idea is amusing :)

I don't know why I thought American Classic was still made in the US, I guess the company name is misleading.

They will not entertain individual buys. They do wholesale as they are manufacturers.

As far as I've communicated with them, its in the order of 100pcs per order. But there are ways to get around the problem if you get the right people in the loop.

Even if we did buy 100 pieces what is the price per unit?

More importantly how good is the fork? What bike is the fork made for?

My thoughts exactly.....
Surely some manufacturer must be using it somewhere?

Once we find that it should be relatively easy to find out if this particular part can be had straight from them or not and at what premium....

Ciao,

100 doesn't sound too bad, if we can gather weight weenies together.....however, logistics would be bad, unless the company can ship to individual addresses....we ww's are around the world.

I honestly doubt they'd do that if they ship in 100s already....
Beside the truly low weight of the fork we honestly don't have a clue about the quality of the thing either.

Maybe I'll ask for a sample. :hmm:

Ciao,
